Austin Justus Amadeus Heath Proctor, age 31, died unexpectedly at his residence in Tacoma, Washington, on Saturday, February 3, 2024. He was born on November 5, 1992, in Olympia, WA.

Raised in eastern Washington, he attended Harrington Elementary. He later attended and graduated from Plainview High School in Texas. He cared deeply for people, often helped stranded vehicles, fixed engines, and did mechanical and handyman jobs as the "Ace of Trades." A member of Local Union 252, he worked hard doing road construction utility services.

His sense of humor was topped by his undeniable signature laugh. Austin took every opportunity to spend time with his kids. He was a truly talented young man and will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives he touched.

Austin is survived by his parents, Kandace Hallam (Tim), Dan Proctor (Suezy), and Jerry Thurman (Kathy); children Samantha, Harrison, and Dorothy; siblings Daniel (Kayla), Jalaina, Kierra, Roxanne, and Raquel; Grandpa Lee; and a host of family and friends.
