Barbara Ann
Carlson
Dec 9, 1942 — Nov 1, 2025
Barbara Ann Carlson, age 82, of Edmonds, Washington, passed away on November 1, 2025 after a brief illness.
Born in Seattle, Washington on December 9, 1942, Barbara was the first child of Charlotte Virginia Johnson (Mum) and George Byxbee Campbell. Barbara's early years were filled with frequent happy family gatherings. She loved her extended family. She and her twin sisters (Jeri and Janice) filled their home with constant giggling, laughter and storytelling. Later in life, Barbara's reflective stories and musings on life were always interesting and filled with intrigue.
Barbara shared her mother's love for gardening and enjoyed introducing her new plantings to friends and family. She was always glad to tour her yard and offer cuttings to anyone interested. Her life was filled with a parade of much-loved dogs and cats, and she was anxious to share stories of their heroic and silly antics. Barbara would laugh as she rehearsed their life events with anyone who would listen, seemingly lost in their animal world, which she loved.
She is survived by a daughter, Valerie Campbell, a son, Matt Kiltoff, a brother, Kevin Campbell of Sandy, Utah and three Grandchildren.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Carlson and her son, George Carlson.
At request, no services will be held.
Cremation is arranged through American Memorial of Everett, Washington.
