Beverly Kay Lee was 82 years old when she entered her eternal home with her savior Jesus Christ on July 20, 2025. She was born to Russell William James and Elisa Alvera Poulsen on March 28th, 1943 in Oberon ND.

Beverly married John Edward Lee of Iowa on August 28, 1960 and they raised 3 daughters, Arlene, Kathleen and Barbara. She loved Christ and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, always passionate about serving and caring for others ahead of herself. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and many crafts like quilting, sewing, knitting and crocheting. She enjoyed visiting friends and family, both near and far, and her family always looked forward to her delicious meals and especially her treats like thin pancakes and kringla!

She moved to Washington in November 2014 to live with Kathleen and her husband Don due to the effects of dementia.

We know she had a great reception in Heaven and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by three daughters Arlene (Andrew) Mallas, Kathleen (Don) Olson, Barbara (Richard) Novak; five grandchildren Jessica (Dennis) Blevins, Samantha Novak, Rebekah Novak, Joshua Mallas, Elizabeth (Trey) Lipe; and two great-grandchildren Korbin and Harper Richardson. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Lee, her brother John David James and her parents Elisa (Poulsen) James and Russell James.

Memorial will be held at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley, Iowa on September 20, 2025 at 1:00pm.

In 1973 she chose Christ as her center, her example and her vision, and we can all make that choice today.
