Billie Jean Hall was born in Puyallup Washington to Elmer and Clara Helgren on September 23, 1927.  She passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024 at the age of 96.  She is survived by her three children Richard B. (Kathy) Hall, Susan M. (Walt) Davenport, and Ronald D. Hall, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billie Jean graduated from Puyallup High School in 1945 and she was so proud that some of her great grandchildren are the 5th generation to go to PHS.  She is known and loved by many that have crossed her path during her long life and in her many interests.  Over the years Billie Jean has been an Avon lady, a rhododendron and azalea nurseryman, a blueberry farmer, a Daisy Girl Scout leader, a foreign student hostess, oil painter and worked for Puget Sound Bank in the print department.  She was part of a bunko group, a weekly breakfast group, a tatting group, a Sunday school group and member of the Puyallup Nazarene Church. She has traveled with friends making new friends wherever she went.  She worked several years at the Puyallup Fair and the Good Guys Car show.  Billie Jean also volunteered at the Puyallup Police Department for years as a receptionist in the lobby often giving advice to the prisoners as they were let out! We are all left with terrific loving memories as well as dozens of her beautiful oil paintings.

The family is so appreciative for the exceptional loving care given to our Mom and Grandma by Multicare Hospice team, Alice, Kelsie, Melody, and Kayla that were with her for two and a half years as well as the caregivers, Mez, Helen, Naomi, and Zion at Welcome Home Heritage Glen Adult Family Home where she happily spent her last seven months.

There will be a Celebration of Life honoring Billie Jean Hall on March 23, 2024  1:00 P.M. at the Puyallup Nazarene Church 1026  7th Ave. SW. Puyallup WA 98371.
