Christian was born on October 17, 1962 in Tanganyika, East Africa and passed on August 18, 2023 in Seattle, Washington.

Christian graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 1986, with a keen interest in all things global and environmental.
He was a project manager and superb organizer, an artist and collector of experiences and friends.

He is keenly missed by his parents, Ray and Lois Austin, sisters Anna and Karin, nephews and nieces on Guam, and a multitude of dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at Central Lutheran Church, 1710 11th Ave, Seattle, at 2 pm (Pacific time) on Saturday, Sept 2nd
