Dorothy was born March 19th, 1942 in Randle Washington to William and Mary Mullins. 1 of 14 siblings, Dorothy attended White Pass high-school and Married Doyle Dickey. Together The had 3 Children, Rhonda, Kevin, and Robert. Dorothy worked many years at the Yard Birds Shopping Center as a accountant until it's closure at which time she went to work at Sunbirds. Following the Death of Doyle in 1998 she later Married Edward VonRotz of Seattle and relocated there. When Ed retired from Boeing they moved to Curtis hill to be closer to family of which Dorothy was ever devoted.
Dorothy was spirited, stubborn, and never had a problem telling you how she really felt. She was mischievous and loved trying to "pull the leg" of anyone. She loved her family and was always there to pick you up when you were down and would have given the shirt off her back if someone was in need. She loved her family and will always be remembered as our "Little Grandma Dot"
She was preceeded in death by her first husband Doyle, Daughter Rhonda, Granddaughter Andrea, and 12 of her 13 siblings. She is survived by her Husband Edward, her Sister Jessie Rowett of Kennewick, son Kevin (Connie) Dickey of Adna, Son Robert (Cheryl) Dickey of Centralia, Step son Adam VonRotz of Kent, Son in Law Leroy Sanford of Chehalis, and Grand children Joshua (Judy) Sanford, Jessica Gilbert, Jason Dickey, Kyle (Brette) Tomes, Alexis Dickey, and Tristan Dickey. And her Great Grandchildren Austin, Ellie, and Jaxon Gilbert, Zane and Sophie Sanford, and Blake Strodemier, Grayson, and Konnor Tomes. Along with numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Dorothy went to walk with our Lord on October 7th 2024 peacefully in Centralia Washington. Details on a Celebration of Life will follow. Hug your loved ones at every opportunity, for in this world tomorrow is never promised and those we care for are forever in our hearts. Heaven has gained another Angel this day. She is probably sticking her tongue out.
