Obituary

Earl Holland was born April 20, 1949 in Seattle, Washington, to June and William Dehart/Holland. Throughout his seventy-four years he had homes in Tacoma, Vashon Island, Kirkland, Woodinville and Puyallup.

After graduating high school, Earl went into the Navy. His first career upon returning to civilian life was installing windows as a member of the Glaziers Union. Falling off the roof of a two-story building ended that career. Earl began a second career as a copier technician working for the company, Konica/Minolta until 2008.

He was married and widowed twice and is survived by his daughter, Carolyn, from his first marriage.

Throughout his entire life, Earl was an avid fisherman, and a very successful one at that. In later years, Earl became a collector. His Man Cave sported collections such as knives, toys, vinyl record albums, Seahawk and Mariner memorabilia and last but never least -- fishing rods, reels and lures. Earl was the king of one liner jokes, always trying to get people to laugh, whether he knew them personally or not!

Earl was one of nine children, four brothers and four sisters. In age order they are: Judy Wilhelm, Vera Yurisich, Bill Holland, Earl, Linda Campos, David Holland, (twins) Pat & Mike Holland and baby of the family, Becky Holland.
