Edward Charles Staggs was born in Tacoma, Washington, where he was a lifetime resident, on February 16, 1954. He passed away at home in Tacoma on June 25, 2026 at the age of 72. He graduated from Mt Tahoma High School. In 1975 Ed met and married the love of his life, Renee. Together they raised 5 children. Ed was the owner and operator of Liberty Glass. He took great pride in his family and was a devoted husband, loving father, adoring papa, beloved son and brother. All who knew him loved him. Some of Ed's greatest pleasures were sharing the love of God with others and enjoying reading the Bible. Throughout the years Ed had many great memories of traveling with his wife and spending quality time with family and friends.

Ed id survived by his wife, Renee Staggs, mother, Mary Wooten, sons: Eddie, David and John Staggs, daughters: Mandy Cary, Michelle Hoffmeister, brothers: James Carder, Ken, Kevin and Darin Wooten, Jamie and Ricky Staggs, sisters: Donna Maywhort, Debbie Lean, Randi Staggs, Mindy Staggs Sansom, 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00, July 18, at Lighthouse Christian Center in Puyallup, Washington (3409 23rd St SW). Ed will be buried at Woodbine Cemetery in Puyallup, Washington, with a family only graveside.
