Erlinda Golez Ga Villadares Forney born December 1, 1939, in Negros Occidental, Visayan Islands, Philippines to Dolores Ga Villadares and Khaya Ko. Erlinda passed away on December 15, 2023, in Everett Washington.  She was predeceased by her parents, her brother Roberto Ga Villadares and sister Adelaida Villadares Golez; her son, our brother Ernove Joseph.  Erlinda is survived by son, Timmy Forney; three daughters, Stephona Cooper, Robin Christman and P. R.; four grandchildren, Nicholas Robbins, David Christman, Jr., Nikole Dobbins and Kenny Christman; and four great-grandchildren, Emma Robbins, Jaxxon Vachon, Parker Christman and Skyler Parlin.

Our Mother was an amazing woman she came from the Philippines, spoke very little English and had to learn the American culture while raising all five of us while our Father was in the Navy and was out at sea quite a bit. Erlinda was a devoted Roman Catholic parishioner, served as a Eucharistic Minister who loved to volunteer her time, write scripture and to sing.  Erlinda taught Catholicism to us, our friends and other family members.  Erlinda strived to be an exceptional and dedicated mother who sewed all our outfits, made homemade bread, taught us to cook and carry on the traditional Asian recipes.  Mom took us to all our Sporting events, Boy Scouts and Girl Scout outings.  Mom raised us kids to be respectful, helpful and provided assistance to those in need, especially the elderly.

Erlinda volunteered for the Navy-Marine Corp Relief Society and as a Navy Ombudsman.  She also volunteered and worked as a teacher's aide.  She enjoyed making Christmas Wreaths during the Holidays.  Erlinda was an incredibly hard worker in many fields.  She worked as a waitress, seamstress, and worked for the following companies:  Red Baron Pizza Co., Angel Job Corp., International Paper Co., Highway flagger for a construction crew, and KFC.

Erlinda was very adventurous and loved to travel. She loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping, cooking, swimming, hiking, fishing, gardening and sewing.  She was very talented and quite a homemaker.

Our mother was a giving soul, always putting others before her.  She used to rent Icee, popcorn, and cotton candy machines and hold large block parties and gave away goodies to those who could not afford.  She loved to bake lil' cakes and give them away and loved to play Bingo.  Erlinda was always giving to those in need.

Erlinda was loved and cared for by many, especially by Rose & Sam Idegwu at Angel Adult Family Home Care.

Erlinda's Caring and Beautiful Soul is reunited in Heaven with her loved ones. A private ceremony will be held at the Eureka Cemetery in Newport OR where she will be laid to rest in peace.
