Francis James "Jim" Faucher Jr. left to be with our Lord and Savior on September 23, 2023 in Puyallup, Washington. Born July 12,1938 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Son of Francis Joseph "Frank" Faucher and Virginia "Ginny" Evylan Smithers-Faucher.

Jim is survived by his son Pierre Donnell Faucher and wife Nicole Nazzario-Faucher of West Chester, Pennsylvania. His daughter Caryn Lynn Faucher-Salapka and husband John Scott Salapka of Shelton, Washington. His son Douglas Carl Faucher of Graham, Washington. His daughter Michaele Lynn Faucher-Graham of Shelton, Washington. His sister Patricia Faucher-Baker and husband Claborn "Bud" Baker of Kingsbury, Texas. His brother Francis Joseph Faucher Jr. and wife Priscilla "Paddy" of Casselberry, Florida. His special daughter Donna Lynn Wilson and husband Jarrod Ray Wilson of Silsbee, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bonnie Rae Herbrand and his son Francis James "Jimmy" Faucher II.

Francis has numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well.

Just 1 month and 4 days after Jim turned 17yrs (as he tells it) he joined the Navy where he spent 4 years. After that he chose the Army for 8.5 years. Jim worked in the oil fields and was a truck driver for many years. Later becoming an instructor. He spent many years enjoying life in Seguin Texas with friends and family.

He chose to retire to "God's Country" (Washington State) in the early 2000's.

Jim loved to fish. He loved the outdoors. He loved chickens, dogs and all animals. He loved country western music and dancing. He loved to just shoot the bull and have a cup of coffee. He loved to tell stories to anyone that would listen, especially if you were easy on the eyes. He had great stories about being in the circus, riding the rails as a kid and working in a sepentarium in Florida. He had funny sayings like "if it ain't one thing it's another" and "life's a bitch and we're the puppies"! Also ones like "lord love a duck" and "that's a matter of opinion". He loved ice-cream and Applebee's. He always made sure us girls had "pocket money". And by the way, he never smoked a marijuana cigarette.

He will be deeply missed.

Jim will be laid to rest in Tahoma National Cemetery in Covington, Washington.
