Gearldine Cummings Sims was born on June 1, 1949, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She passed away on June 12, 2024, in Renton, Washington, at the age of 75. Gearldine loved spending time with her family, playing cards, watching scary movies, cooking and playing uno with her grandkids. She is survived by her daughters, Tahwanna Lee and Tanika Sims, her brothers, Samuel Cummings and Jessie Lee Cummings, sisters Francis Cummings, Ruby Jones, Angell Johnson, Purley Brooks, and Loretta Allen. Also survived by her grandkids, Jaynika Howard, Taleijah Sims and Jayla Howard. Services will be held on Friday, June 28th at 1-3pm at the Renton Masonic Hall.
