Gordeena Diane Huson, 87, of Bothell, Washington, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024. She was born on September 13, 1936, in Anacortes, WA, to Mary & Gordon Jorgensen. Gordeena attended Western Washington University before beginning a career in bookkeeping.

In 1957, Gordeena married Richard Phillips and had two children- Kathy Phillips & Richard Phillips (Jr). In 1968, Gordeena and David Huson married in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Gordeena and David worked together in the petroleum industry, with the ownership of a Chevron Fuel Station.

Gordeena's favorite career choice was being a fundamental role model for her five grandchildren, whom she loved greatly.

Gordeena was preceded in death by her husband, David Huson, and her sister, Doris Garton.

Gordeena is survived by her children, Kathy Phillips & Richard (Lisa) Phillips, and stepchildren, Kathy Huson, Pam Huson, Marcie (Clive) Potts, Greg (Kim) Huson, along with her grandchildren, Richard (Kristine) Phillips, Michael (Amanda) Phillips, Rachel (Zack) Rigelman, Shanti Phillips, and Payton Huson. Gordeena was also a cherished great-grandmother to Kylie & Brooklyn Phillips, and Austin & Lacey Phillips.

Gordeena's life was filled with love and faith. She was a strong and dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Gordeena also volunteered at the Virgina Mason Hospital, where she served in various roles. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
