Helen Norene Harshbarger Hogle was born on November 13, 1931, in West Milton, Ohio. She passed away on December 14, 2023, in Edmonds, Washington, at the age of 92. Helen worked as a public-school teacher. In addition to her career, she touched countless lives traveling the globe and educating children in locations such as American Samoa, England, India, Japan, Mexico, Namibia and Tanzania.

She is survived by her son, Brad Hogle (Lynnwood, WA); son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Merrie Hogle (Bellingham, WA); and granddaughter, Racheal Drysdale (Mesa, AZ).

A celebration of life will be hosted on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 1-5pm at Cedar Cross United Methodist Church (1210 132nd St SE, Mill Creek, WA) open-house style, with a brief program beginning at 3pm.
