It is with great sadness we inform you of the passing of our spouse, father, grandfather, and friend Henry L. Bethune. He was 79.

For the last nine years Henry and his husband, Donald, had been living it up in Burien, Washington. When not there relaxing and taking care of their humble abode, they could be seen in the New England towns or on the coast of Maine or down in Key West, Florida enjoying the sun and its beaches.

Henry was born in Waycross, Georgia to Henry and Annie (Henderson) Bethune in 1944, late in the month of November.

Henry was a local resident of the Seattle area for 45 years. He was a highly popular bartender in the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for 37 of those years. He loved to travel with Don and friends, hanging on the beach, hosting family and friends at home, he liked baking, and never missed a game of football courtesy of the Georgia Bulldogs and whoever they were up against.

A Celebration of Life in Henry's name will be held at a later date.
