Jenean Ann Anglin, 80, of Renton, Washington, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with advanced Alzheimer's dementia. Born on November 26, 1944, in Seattle, Washington, Jenean lived a life dedicated to compassion, adventure, and family.

Jenean was the beloved wife of George Anglin and the daughter of Ellis and Helen Clark. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gordon Clark. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Michael Hayburn, Mathew Hayburn, Laura Anglin Lane, Kristin Anglin Brumit, and Dianna Anglin Hughes.

A registered nurse for more than 40 years, Jenean devoted her life to caring for others. The last two decades of her career were spent as a home health and hospice nurse—work she regarded as her calling. In 1998, she earned the distinction of Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse, a national honor requiring exceptional dedication and skill. Jenean was known for her boundless compassion, often prioritizing her patients' comfort above her own, making countless late-night visits and braving all conditions to ensure families and patients received the care and reassurance they needed.

Beyond her profession, Jenean was a woman of boundless curiosity and zest for life. She traveled extensively, exploring more than 28 countries across six continents—from Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and North America—and captured her experiences through thousands of photographs that now serve as a testament to her adventurous spirit.

She loved hiking the trails of the Cascades and Olympics, collecting and polishing rocks, and cheering passionately for her Washington State Cougars—attending over 370 football games in three decades.

Jenean's life was one of purpose, joy, and generosity. Her legacy of compassion and curiosity will live on in all who were fortunate to know her. She always had a smile and shared her joy for life with all that knew her.
