John William Gessner was born on September 4, 1951 in Lewiston, Idaho and passed away on July 30, 2024 in Olympia, Washington. John was a High School Biology teacher for many years and loved being in nature, dogs and music. He is survived by his daughter, Meagan Conwell of Chicago, Illinois, sisters, Deanna Lisoft of Las Vegas, Nevada and Sandra Smith of Astoria, Oregon.
