John Russell Hicks Jr was born on April 10, 1963, in Walla Walla, Washington. He passed away on December 11, 2023, in Everett, Washington, where he had been a resident for 33 years. John worked most of his life as a chef. He was married from 1989-2009 to Tiffany Hicks. John was a beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. His passions included food, music, friends, going on bike rides and random adventures. John always had a story to tell and a joke ready to go.

He leaves behind his sons, Rayce Hicks (fiance- Tessa Johnston), John-Michael Rogers, daughter, Alexis Hicks, brother, William Hicks, Saraye Craney. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers (Steven, Robert).
