Leota, or 'Lee' as she was known, was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa in 1929. Her parents, John and Edna, brought her into this world where she became a force to be reckoned with as well as a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother. She married Jack and lived in Renton, Wash for the remainder of her life. Jack and three of her children survive her, as well as her, extended, extended family.

Leota was laid to rest in Mount Olivet Cemetery on Friday, January 31, 2025. A celebration of Lee's life will take place in the summer.
