Linda Marie Davies passed away Friday, June 6, 2025 in Gig Harbor, WA peacefully with all her families love.

Linda was born in Anaconda, MT to Al McVay and Marie Salmen on December 17, 1942.  She grew up in Rocker, however it wasn't until she was working in west Yellowstone after high school that she met the love of her life Edward Davies.  They married on March 25, 1963 and raised three children while traveling to different ports of call with the Navy until they finally retired in 1986 and moved to Port Orchard.

Linda had a varied career from waitress, grocery clerk, newspaper delivery, car delivery and housewife.  She put 100% of herself into whatever she was doing and usually had a song to sing while doing it.  She was always the first to be up and helping.

Linda enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, fishing, gold panning and making soap.  She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  Nothing was better than going to a restaurant where they poured the coffee.

Linda was proceeded in death by her parents and sister Carol (Newt) Koelzer.

She is survived by her husband, Edward, of 62 years, daughter Deborah Davies of Tacoma, WA, daughter June Davies of Tacoma, WA, son Brian (Kelly) Davies of Maple Valley, WA, sister Patricia Leary of Butte, MT, sister Vicky Strain of Butte, MT, grandchildren Amy of Odessa, WA, Stacy Buck of Maple Valley, WA, great grandchildren Isaac Park, Lillian Park, Madison Chapman, Sawyer Chapman, Stella Buck and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for my mom Linda Davies are being held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at American Memorial 100 Blaine Ave NE, Renton WA 98057 - viewing from 10 – 11 with services from 11 – 12.  Graveside service at Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042 – 1:00 – 1:45.  Reception to follow 19300 SE 267th St. Covington, WA 98042.
