Lisa Marie Piper passed away on September 1, 2024 with her husband at her side.

Lisa was born in San Francisco, CA to Howard Allen Briggs and Mary Lorraine Meeker Briggs on October 28, 1960.  She was the only daughter with 3 brothers, Lary Briggs who preceded her in death, Denis Briggs (wife Misty) and Paul Briggs (wife Patricia) both of Oklahoma.  Lisa has 3 children, Daniel and Ann Marie, who reside in Washington.  Her daughter, Mary Beth, passed away in 2021 after a battle with cancer.    Lisa married the wonderful Lincoln Piper on June 12, 2006 and became the step-mom to Christopher and Ellen.  She was a loving grandmother, great grandmother, cousin, aunt and niece to many aunts and uncles who loved her.

Lisa and Lincoln have lived in Gold Bar since 1997.  Lisa worked at Fred Meyer's Market for 16+ years and then 10 years at Walmart.  She was well known by her friends and constant customers for having a heart of gold.  She would help anyone.  When her daughter died of Cancer she made jewelry, which her aunt sold to raise money to bring awareness to cancer through Relay For Life which she supported.  She loved gardening, scrapbooking and beading and bears of any kind.  As you can tell from the picture she loved the outdoors and anything to do with bears.   She was an avid reader.

She will be missed by so many who loved her.  She has joined her parents, brother and daughter waiting in heaven for the rest of the family when it is our time.
