Margaret LaNaire Woodard, aged 94, passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2026 in Everett, WA.

Margaret was born to Ada & Ben Barba on April 29th, 1931 and raised in Silver Lake, WA. She was the oldest of 3, having 2 sisters, Bernita and Jeanette.

She graduated from Toutle Lake High School and soon after married David Woodard (Woody), of Castle Rock, WA.

Margaret and Woody raised 2 children; a daughter, Lorna and son, Owen Sr, in the home she and Woody built in the small town of Castle Rock.  Midway through raising children, she graduated from beautician school and opened a successful hair salon, My Fair Lady.

She left a legacy as a remarkable person who loved to cook, dance, fish, and hunt. She was a woman of many talents with a laugh you could hear for miles.

Family and friends who knew her best will remember her always and forever as an amazing lady, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and believe she will rejoice with her beloved family in heaven above. She will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be arranged and details shared once known.
