Marliese Ruth
Hall
Nov 26, 1945 — Apr 29, 2024
Marliese was born on November 26th 1945 in Mannheim Germany. Marliese was a strong willed woman and loved to enjoy life and will be deeply missed. Marliese married an American soldier at the age of 16 and had a beautiful baby boy, soon afterwards they came back to the states. A few years later they had a daughter. Marliese played bass and sang in a band with her late ex husband Charles, for many years traveling from state to state. She decided she wanted to settle down with her two children and start a new life of her own. Marliese became a very strong and independent woman who would help anyone in need, no matter her situation she would always try to stay positive.
Marliese had been a resident in the states for 61 years, of which the past 11 years lived in the Nisqually valley area. She had many jobs, but I think her favorites were owning 3 German restaurants and owning a security company, which is now owned by her son. She still kept hours and did payroll for him. Marliese loved to help her community from setting up a foodbank in a mobile park for the seniors to bringing the homeless food with her grandchildren, she even worked at the humane society as a volunteer.
Marliese loved people, we have been told since her passing how she had a big heart and loved to tell stories of her past. She loved to travel and to see new things, her time was cut way too short.
Seven years ago we almost lost her to a bad infection, but it wasn't her time to go with her strong will and fight, she continued on. We were blessed to have her for another 7 years.
Marliese loved her family and friends, and of course the comfort of her fur babies.
Marliese, passed away April 29th at 10:15pm in Olympia at St. Pete's Hospital. She passed from shock to her body from an unknown infection in her blood.
Marliese is survived by a very big family and many friends who meant so much to her. She is survived by her son and daughter in law Chuck and Shirley Hall, and her daughter Lisa McDaniels. Four grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, Tara and Rory Bosma, with Conner and Cole, Michael and Brittany McDaniels, with Baylee, Riley and Rowan, Nicole Hamilton with Mackenzie, Mia and Zoe, and Shane and Ashlee Hall, with Aiden, Annabelle and Audrey. Survived by her brother and sisters- in law Bruno and Erika Glastetter, and Christa Glastetter. Her mother in law Connie Hall, and brothers and sister in laws on the Hall side, Kevin and Jan, Brian and Sue, Jerry and Michelle, Michael, Ed and Jessica, Rachel, and Ron and Linda Kuehl, Maureen Flanagan, Tony and Robyn Folcey, Mike and Connie Borsheim, Josh and Rebecca Ruiz, and son in law Lynn McDaniels, Plus so many nieces and nephews and cousins and so many dear friends. Marliese's family and friends made her world go around and she was very blessed and fulfilled.
As a mom, grandmother and great grandmother and sister, aunty, you will be loved and missed forever. For those of us who have her in our hearts we will always be blessed ourselves. Celebration of Life for Marliese R Hall
