Michele Patricia Stinson Clements, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister passed away unexpectedly on May 4, 2026. Michele was 70 years old and had lived in Seattle since 1989, after being born in San Diego, California and spending much of her adolescence in Port Hueneme.
Michele was most proud of her role as a mother of three and grandmother, generously sharing her endless love and warmth with family and friends alike. Known for her incredible stories and the best hugs, she had a unique gift for making everyone feel cherished and special.
A talented seamstress and artisan at heart, Michele's passion for quilting, crocheting, knitting, and sewing was evident in the many beautiful baby blankets, prayer shawls, and handcrafted treasures she created with love. Her dedication to sending handwritten cards and letters touched countless lives—few people escaped her thoughtful notes, whether on holidays or just because she cared.
Michele embraced life with an insatiable appetite for knowledge and a love of reading, often spending her retirement days by the window immersed in a book series. Her faith was an important foundation in her life, guiding her to treat others as she herself wished to be treated.
Her home was a refuge of warmth and kindness, always open to friends and family alike. Michele's strength, resilience, and boundless love were an inspiration and example to all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held in mid to late summer 2026 in Seattle. Details will be shared as soon as they are available.
Michele will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love she gave so freely and the joy she brought into the lives of many.
