Michelle Lynn Andrus, born in Seattle, Washington, to Thomas Riggs and Sherry Bryant, entered the world a freckled redhead with striking blue eyes. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, and her first daughter, Alexis Angel Lynn.

Michelle is survived by her daughters, Hannah and Jordan; her beloved granddaughter, Taylor; her sisters, Sadie and Leeann; her dad, Rick; her nephew, Christian; her loyal dog, Lady; and many extended family members, friends, and the countless "bonus kids" she lovingly gathered throughout her life.

The greatest joys of Michelle's life were raising her daughter, Hannah, and spending cherished time with her granddaughter, Taylor. She delighted in taking Taylor to the zoo, the science center, and on many other adventures. This past summer, they shared their first camping trip together—an experience Michelle treasured deeply. She enjoyed diamond dot painting, crocheting, and doing crafts with Taylor. Her favorite color was blue, and she found peace by the ocean, especially at Ocean Shores, where she loved searching for seashells. Michelle also enjoyed baking and was known for her incredible cheesecake. Her sense of humor was unforgettable and sometimes dark. Those close to her will fondly remember that "Michelle gave the "chicken permission" and that according to Sadie, she was "Pre‑justiced,"

Michelle was a deeply kindhearted person who cared fiercely for the people she loved. Despite facing many challenges throughout her life, she consistently showed up for others with compassion, loyalty, and generosity. She embodied the spirit of "get knocked down nine times, get up ten." She was a dreamer—one who dreamed not only for herself but for everyone she loved. Many who knew her would say she was truly an angel on earth. Now, she is our angel watching over us.

In recent years, Michelle was reconnecting with her faith in God and was ordained as a Gnomean minister in the months before her passing. Though she had struggled with her health for several years, her death was sudden and unexpected. She passed away peacefully in her home in Everett, Washington on November 26, 2025.

Michelle was an extraordinary woman whose love, humor, and resilience will be missed more than words can express. Her passing is a profound loss to all who knew her, she will be forever loved.
