Mikayla Blue Cohen was born on April 13, 1991, in Romania, where she was adopted and brought to America. She passed away in Olympia, Washington, at the age of 32. Mikayla worked in sales. She was a part of Soka Gakkai of America (International). Mikayla was a happy child, always smiling, a wonderful, kind, and loyal friend to all who knew and cared about her. Her children felt her love everyday as she was a devoted and creative mom. She leaves behind her loving parents, Don and Sharron Cohen (Olympia, WA), life partner, Dennis Teffeteller (Olympia, WA), sons; Jordon  (Olympia, WA), Dexter (Spanaway, WA), daughter Mila-Kay (Spanaway, WA), sister, Lili Owens (Olympia, WA), Merrill Goldstein (Olympia, WA) and other family and friends.

A tree planting with a living urn will take place in the Fall of 2023, at Priest Point Park in Olympia, Washington.
