Obituary

Myriam Lourdes Vijil, was a woman of great strength and perseverance, in her 78 years. She worked hard with excellence in everything she did in her life and continued to pursue education to further herself. She was born on March 31, 1946 in Managua, Nicaragua. She married Abdallah Akar in 1966 to 1974 and in that time had two beautiful daughters, Shamis and Elissar, she especially took pride in her work as a Spanish Interpreter for Los Angeles Immigration Court for 16 years and retired in March 31, 2012. Her faith in Jehovah was very dear to her. She regularly attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. One of Her favorite scripture was Revelations 21: 3 & 4 which says,
3 With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.
4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."
Myriam enjoyed 46 years in California with the last 4 years in Washington. She loved her two daughters Shamis Akar Hoffmann & Elissar Akar and adored her two granddaughters Leila & Alexi and her two grandsons Benjamin & Samuel and her great grandson.  Preceeding her in death, her father, Jose Vijil Bolanos and her mother, Jilma Lopez
