Patricia Anne (McNeal) Payton Marshall

Passed away April 29, 2025, in Kent, WA due to Alzheimer's disease.

Patricia (Pat) was born on February 22, 1940, in Ellettsville, IN to Lloyd and Dorothy McNeal.  She was the oldest of four children.  In 1958 she married Howard Payton, and they had two children.  The family of four moved to Issaquah in 1964.

Pat was a stay-at-home mom until the children were in middle school and then she went to work as a bartender at various taverns in the Issaquah area.  Her first husband passed away in 1989 and she then went to work for a large apartment leasing company where she worked until her retirement.  In retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

In 1991, she married Duane Marshall and gained additional adult children.   They lived on Cougar Mountain and in Renton until his passing in 2019.  In 2022 Pat moved into assisted living and in 2024 she moved into memory care.  She fought a good battle but in the end, the disease won.

She was preceded in death by both her husbands Howard Payton and Duane Marshall, her parents Lloyd McNeal and Dorothy Bault and her son Timothy Payton.

She is survived by her children Cheryl (Kerry) Payton-Rose of Renton, Susan (Doug) Sawhill of Preston, Robert (T) Marshall of Maple Valley, Jennifer (John) Schwartz of Bellevue.  The grandchildren she adored Conner (Anna) Rose of Seattle, Kyler (Reagan) Rose of Edmonds, Mariah Payton of South Bend, IN, Jackson and Austen Schwartz of Bellevue.

Here surviving siblings Larry (Connie) McNeal of FL, Ken McNeal of Puerta Vallarta & Vicki (Dean) Mergner of Renton.

Pat was a member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars and Issaquah Eagles Auxiliary #3054
