Was born in Tacoma Washington, He passed away in Seattle Washington at Harborview Hospital of natural causes at the age of 77.
Raymond was a veteran served in the United States Army from May 24, 1966 to April 9, 1968. Did a tour in Korea, Where he was an Army cook, also learning Martial arts.
Raymond lived in an 8 unit apartment complex and also was the managed there for 25 years.
He loved to dance, in the late 60's and 70', The HiHat was his hangout.
Raymond was the 11th of twelve children. He enjoyed his motorcycle and loved to work on cars. He was known as a wheeler and dealer by friend and family, always looking for the next deal.
Raymond is survived by two loving daughters, Brandee Chavez and Husband Francis of Eatonville Washington and Sheryl Valaitis and Husband Nick of Morrison Tennessee. Three brothers and one sister. Robert Moser of Tacoma, Daniel Speidel of Parkland, Albert Speidel of Tacoma and Phyllis Beall (Speidel) of Tacoma and two grand Children, Uncle to 10 nephews and 16 nieces.
Most of his adult life he was a recreational Manager, (No explanation needed if you knew Raymond). He had a big heart and loved to make people Laugh.
Raymond was loved and will be missed by many. We are comforted to know that he is home in Heaven experiencing the love of his Mother and Father and 2 sisters and 6 brothers.
Funeral Services will be posted at a later date.
The Service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery.
