Sarah Jean Bond was born on June 17,1941, in Brack lock, Pennsylvania. She passed away on October 27, 2023, in Monroe, Washington, at the age of 82. Sarah worked as a therapist for sex offenders in the Washington Department of Corrections and retired in 2006. She was a lifelong democrat and enjoyed traveling, bird watching, gardening flowers and cooking.

Sarah leaves behind her husband of 40 years, Albert W. Parsons, sons, Michael Slattery, Andrew Parsons, daughter, Kimberly Van Cleave, sisters, Judy Arthur, Jill Beach.
