Thomas Edward Gillaspie, 59, of SeaTac, Washington, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2026.

Born on August 3, 1966, Thomas lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and a love for family, friends, and the outdoors. From an early age, he was passionate about sports, playing both baseball and soccer as a child. His love for baseball continued well into his twenties, where he enjoyed the camaraderie, competition, and friendships the game brought him.

Thomas was a skilled construction worker and talented woodworker who took great pride in building and creating with his hands. Whether he was working on a woodworking project, tackling a construction job, riding his snowmobile, or exploring the outdoors, he found joy in staying active and doing what he loved.

Known for his strong work ethic, adventurous spirit, and kind heart, Thomas was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, his sense of humor, and the genuine care he showed to those around him. His craftsmanship, generosity, and love of the outdoors left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, James Gillaspie. He is survived by his mother, Marie Gillaspie; his sister, Lorraine Veach and her husband, Don Veach; his brother, Bill Gillaspie; and many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Thomas leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, craftsmanship, and love. He will be deeply missed, but the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the example he set will remain in the hearts of those who loved him.
