After a valiant 7-year fight with colon cancer, Troy Morton Knowles (51) passed away on August 26, 2023, with his family lovingly by his side.

Troy Knowles, who was born on August 12, 1972, spent his first 6 years of life in Marysville, Washington.  Then his mother (Pam Metcalf) decided to drive him, and his two brothers, Tyler and Terry in a green school bus through the pass into Republic, Washington, where Troy finished school and received his Job Corps diploma.  Troy finally returned to the west side of the mountains where he had his only son Brayden and spent 19 years working for Buse Timber Mill.

In 2012 Troy met Kirsten Smith, the love of his life, they got married and spent 11 great years together.  Troy found the job of his dreams at the Boeing Company over those 11 years.  Troy cherished Boeing, his wife, his pets, and his entire existence.  Troy had a big heart and a great sense of humor, but he was also strong-willed and stubborn at times.  He was bold, devoted, and generous.  He was intelligent and bursting with wisdom from all of his life's experiences, he could repair or construct ANYTHING!

Troy was a fighter, but now he is riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle to locations that are out of our sight.  We are confident that he is pain-free and riding into the sunsets of his dreams.  He will be sorely missed.  Until we meet again.
